THE APPRENTICE

Get 1:1 support and guidance on how to build a business case for yourself before you negotiate your promotion and compensation package.

Apprentice Role & Responsibilities

1.

To learn from your Advisor based on their experience and guidance provided in the Playbook.

The advice applied is at your sole discretion.

2.

To understand that the Advisor is not to be “employer facing” during any part of compensation discussions - in person, on calls or in writing (cc’d in emails).

3.

To expect confidentiality and zero conflicts from your Advisor. Any information shared (i.e. salary) is at your sole discretion.

4.

To seek advice from an employment lawyer, financial advisor or accountant as guidance provided by Advisor is not meant to serve as a substitute.

5.

To maintain a professional and respectful demeanor towards the Advisor and expect the same in return.

6.

To take responsibility of scheduling calls with your Advisor and sending any documents for review at least 24-48 hours prior.

What Else You Need to Know

Everyone’s circumstance will be different.

You may need a whole lot or very little support so please be upfront with your Advisor so they can manage their schedules accordingly.

The Playbook is to serve as a guide.

Your Advisor will provide you guidance and support using a combination their real-life experience and the Playbook. We encourage you to give us any new learning so we can keep the Playbook updated.

The Playbook is powered by you.

At the end of your own process, we will ask you to share outcomes and experiences so newer best practices can be added to the document.

The Apprentice is ultimately accountable.

Once we match you to an Advisor, it is your responsibility to reach out, schedule calls and put in the work.
